The principle of needle-free injection is based on injecting a liquid drug under pressure through the skin into the subcutaneous fatty tissue without using a needle. The necessary pressure is generated by a compressed spring inside the injector.

The drug is pressed through a micro-opening in the ampoule with precisely dosed pressure into the underlying tissue in fractions of a second. This is extremely painless, demonstrably gentle on the tissue and safe. Infections caused by needlestick injuries are therefore ruled out.

HOW IT WORKS:

* The disposable ampoule specially developed for the system is filled with the medication and screwed onto the injector.
* The injector prepared in this way is placed firmly on the skin area suitable for a subcutaneous injection (the injector does not come into direct contact with the skin, only the disposable ampoule. This prevents possible transmission of bacteria and viruses).
* A short press on the trigger and the injection takes place in a fraction of a second.

Studies with this system have shown that the injected drug chooses the path of least resistance, i.e. it does not penetrate blood vessels, nerve fibers or even bone substance. The injectate is distributed in a cone shape in the fatty tissue, always strictly subcutaneously.
